SFP+
Suitable for denser installations, the SFP Plus operates with 10 Gbps Ethernet and 8.5 Gbps fiber channels. An upgraded version of the small form pluggable transceivers, the SFP Plus has a more compact size than X2, Xenpak, and XFP modules. SFP Plus modules have a lower power consumption (less than 1W), managed digital optical monitoring, and superior performance in high temperatures.
